Simple Travel Skincare Routine

We know what you must be thinking, “I can barely fit my clothes in my bag! Imagine packing my entire skincare kit!”

This is why your best solution is to focus on keeping it as simple as possible. Depending on your needs and the amount of space you have, you can opt for taking anywhere from 1 to 3 different skincare items.

Option Number 1

Step 1: Cleanse Your Skin Twice a Day

If you’re traveling somewhere extremely hot or extremely cold, you may find that the oil in your face starts getting a bit too comfortable. Almost like it’s settled in and made a home for itself on your entire face.

This happens because your skin is reacting to the extreme weather and balancing itself out to prevent any dryness or irritation. While we appreciate our skin for what it does, you probably don’t feel like putting up with excess oil when you’re trying to enjoy your vacation.

The best solution here is to ensure you’re cleansing your skin every morning and every night. By doing so, you’re helping to balance out the sebum secretions on your skin, while also gently eliminating any excess oil that’s already on your face.

If you have extremely oily skin or struggle with blackheads, try using a cleanser for oily skin. If you find that your skin is oily in some areas but dry in others, you may want to try using a cleanser for combination skin.

Step 2: Stay Hydrated

Whether you’re in the heat or in the cold, you gotta take care of yourself and stay hydrated! The combination of air pressure from your flight, a change in temperature, and a lot of activities means your body will need even more water than it usually does.

This isn’t just for the sake of your health- staying hydrated is important for your skin, too! This will prevent your skin from trying to balance out any dehydration by secreting excess oils.

Drink those 8 cups of water, girl!

Step 3: Put On a Face Cream

Even if you have oily skin, a face cream provides the moisture and nourishment that your face needs to stay smooth and healthy.

You may find that it also helps smooth over your texture in case you want to apply any makeup!

To feel rejuvenated, try a purifying face cream with glycolic acid to gently moisturize and exfoliate the skin.

If you struggle with acne, you may want to opt for a face cream that’s created specifically for acneic skin

Luckily, both options linked above come in 15 mL servings, meaning they’re tiny enough to fit anywhere in your luggage, and even carry around with you when you go out!

That’s It!

And that’s our recommended travel skincare routine! We said it would be simple.

Option Number 2

No Space? No Problem!

However, this skincare routine may not be suitable for everyone. Some of you may find that your skin needs a little extra TLC, such as a weekly exfoliation (if you’re traveling for long periods) or a face mask to help soothe your skin. At the same time, you may be wondering how to fit those different products in your bag.

Fortunately, there are 3-in-1 gel solutions that serve as a cleanser, exfoliator, and scrub- all in one little tube that can easily be carried for your convenience. You’ll be finished with an entire, 3-step skincare routine in a matter of minutes!

If you have oily skin, we would recommend this 3-in-1 gel for oily skin and blackheads. If you experience dry or combination skin,

we would recommend using this 3-in-1 gel for combination skin.

And that’s your entire skincare routine, if you’re opting for number 2!

Happy Holidays, Happy Skin

Whether you’re opting for option 1 or 2, you’ll find that they both serve as simple solutions to ensure that your skin stays healthy and happy during the holidays.

This way, you can focus on having fun as you let these products work their magic.

Happy holidays! We’ll see you when you’re back <3
